Baby Lifeline has launched the second ever UK MUM (Maternity Unit Miracles) Awards, calling on mums and dads to nominate the medical staff who helped to save their little bundles of joy. The charity wants to uncover the real-life stories of MUMs from across the country. Baby Lifeline wants to champion the work of dedicated professionals committed to helping those who don't always get the best start in life.
If you had a midwife who went that extra mile, a surgeon whose skill saved a life, a nurse who nurtured a struggling little one, or a whole team effort, we want to hear about it and help mums and dads out there show how much they appreciate the great work of these healthcare professionals Parents who wish to nominate their unsung heroes should log on to www.babylifeline.org.uk for a nomination form.
